About me

I am currently a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

My research explores how citizens form political opinions and how political parties shape those opinions. In my dissertation I focus particularly on party cues, e.g., the signals parties send to citizens. I study when these cues work, when they don’t, and what that tells us about the relationship between political elites and voters in modern democracies. I am also interested in broader questions of political behavior, including questions of political information, partisan identity, and how voters navigate an increasingly complex political landscape.
